Heartbreaking, especially to find out it's based on real events. The rage that emerges clashes with her exhaustion. Thank you for sharing.

Yeah, she eventually chose silence and sorted her legal docs related to the properties she inherited from her late father to make sure only her biological siblings and their kids get to access them.

Thank you for reading 🫶🏼

Jarring piece 👀 very defined point of complexity for a mother’s specific condition in connections and affiliations. Well done articulating it… sadness

Yeah, sadly, in a world that view mothers as background characters such manipulation and erasure can easily be arranged.

Thank you for reading 🙏🏼

😢 we can alter the reverberations over time as we’ve done, slowly

This was a deeply uncomfortable read in so many aspects.

I was talking to her a few days ago and she mentioned one of those children, a grown woman now with children of her own, invited her over to spend some time with her "grandchildren".

She forgave the children for what their father did but I just couldn't comprehend this level of cruelty against her and the biological mother... but then I remembered how my ex tried to delete my name from my kid's records to derail a legal case between us.

Thank you for the support 🙏🏼

If this was fiction it would seem completely over the top. Real life is crazy sometimes. What a story.

Thanks for writing this. It was a story unlike any I’d heard. It’s a reminder that the world is still a surprising place and there's so much I haven't encountered.

Yeah, the world has it all... Thank you for reading 😊
