When I started writing it, grief was holding the pen and somehow rage didn't like the direction… it wanted the fire to breathe and burn and once it was done, I watched a deep exhale and shadow leave my body.
Sometimes you don't realise just what you need to release until you get it down. In that way writing is a transformative process
